SuperSnoek. A bomb in the Sards

 Driving around, Chasing Sardines hoping to find smaller shoals getting hammered by gamefish, I got a call that a shoal of Sards were quite close in but by the time I’d got there, their was already a crowd.

But none the less, I threw some Iron candy spoons and stick baits into the Shoal with not much going on.
I then moved past the Crowd, switched to a GT Ice cream plug and put a long cast into backline where I noticed a single bird kept swirling over, that same throw I had a Garrick jump onto my lure making a big explosion but didn’t connect.
I threw in the same spot, on a long far throw my line went tight and saw a big splash on my plug, Hooking into a a decent Snoek. The fish took some serious drag, unbelievably Strong for a Snoek and then when I saw it hit the beach I was in disbelief, 110cm Fl (Fork length) Snoek that looked like it had eaten a rugby ball.
I beat my PB by a whole 9cm (Fork Length) that day.

The pictures don’t do this fish justice unfortunately but a memory I’ll never forget.
